a location in the eastern part of India, chosen for
creating an idyllic place of learning, by India’s Nobel
Poet-Laureate, Rabindranath Tagore. Tagore’s
Visvabharati University, remains largely unchanged and
still exudes an old-world charm. Camellia, is a three
storied structure set within a lush green garden. It
offers 50 rooms inclusive of Suites which are being
renovated and refurbished.The F&B facilities have
interesting names – ‘Jhulan’ is the 24-hour coffee shop,
‘Alapan’ is the restaurant and the bar is called ‘Mahua’.Also
available is a 24 hours room service.
