WelcomHeritage Rajendra Villas Palace, Mysore                           Hotel under renovation

Overview

Perched atop the Chamundeswari hill, overlooking the city of Mysore with all the loftiness of being 1,000 feet above it, the enchanting WelcomHeritage Rajendra Villas Palace presides still as a royal summer retreat set amidst lush, wild foliage and manicured, brilliant flowering gardens.

The Sri Chamundeswari Temple, dedicated to the presiding deity of Mysore, is in the vicinity on a vast area of 15 acres.

This agreeable and calm hotel reflects the pace of the gentle city of Mysore, with its temperate climes, where culture, silk and spice take precedence over fast and furious development.

Accommodation

This ornate hotel with antique furnishing has maintained its regal dignity while it offers a slew of modern luxuries. The restaurant and bar look down on the magnificent view of the city at the foot of this verdant hill and the rooms are furnished with old-fashioned elegance and impeccable detail.

The Palace has a meeting hall, a health club, tennis courts and a multi-cuisine restaurant. It plans to shortly add an open-air swimming pool, health spa and barbeque.
